This gracious home was one of the earlier homes built in Whitehawk Ranch. The owners developed a clear vision of their needs on the exterior, as well as the interior, with a hint of southwest style to the rooms. Logs cut on-site during early construction were peeled, dried, and used to create some of the vigas at the doorways, the stairwell railing system, as well as the log truss entry to the great room. Wire brushed cedar Southwest doors and trim were used throughout the home. In addition to a very functional floor plan the area over the garage was developed into a multipurpose craft and guest suite. The integration of the decks, huge boulders, and landscape were created in collaboration with the owners, and noted Landscape Architect, Rob Russell.
